M&P 2.0 Optic Plates made by Calculated Kinetics are a great upgrade from the factory provided plates. Not only did we manufacture these plates out of Aluminum, but we incorporated or DOGTAG Technology to maximize functionality. Incorporating our DOGTAG on to your Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 will make you never want to shoot anything else.

Specifically on this platform with the Loaded Chamber Indicator placement, we found that as gasses and carbon eject from the gun, it is funneled directly onto the optic frontal lens and can eventually obscures the view. Adding the DOGTAG reduced this carbon buildup by approximately 80% increasing the shooters overall situational awareness and lethality.

The plate is 100% manufactured in the USA out of Aluminum, then hard anodized to give you the durability to last a lifetime. Is approximately 0.65 mm thicker than the polymer plates included with the gun, allowing you to still have a co witness with OEM optic height sight for any RMR Footprint, lower 1/3rd for the Holosun EPS, and unfortunately no co witness with the Holosun 509T. DOGTAG compatibility with some duty holsters may not allow the retention system to work. For the M&P specifically, we have had compatibility issues with the Safariland 6390s and the Alien Gear Rapid Force. To our knowledge all other major brand duty holsters are retaining weapons without any issues.

As always, included with the plate is hardware to mount it, Torx Bit, and a small tube of Vibratite to complete the job.
